Winter Story Summit Announces Scholarships

For Working Moms, Writers Under 40, and Writers Over 50

Today, the Winter Story Summit announced three scholarships for its inaugural event in February 2020. The scholarships are in three different sectors: moms, people under 40 and people over 50.

There are full scholarships as well as partial scholarships to be granted. Submissions must be in by Monday, November 18, 2019, at 5 p.m. Pacific.

Full award winners (along with a guest of their choice) are provided with an all-tuition paid trip to the Winter Story Summit 2020, which includes six days, five nights (February 22- February 27) on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas Cruise Ship. This tuition includes complete access to all events at the summit, an ocean view room (for sleeping for two), and all food and beverages — a value of $5,500. Tuition does not include travel to and from the summit.

Recipients of the partial Story Summit Scholarships will receive a 25% to 50% deduction on the Winter Summit tuition of $5,500. (this also allows you to bring a guest of your choice). Recipients will need to confirm their financial capacity to pay the remainder of the tuition.
