Rosa Salazar, one of Mexico’s most prolific writers, has agreed to head the committee for the Moms@Work Scholarships sponsored by Story Summit.

The summits are conducted seasonally and designed to elevate and engage creative writers in inspiring locations around the world. Winter Story Summit will take place in the Caribbean in February, 2020. Summer Story Summit will occur on a tour of Alaskan Glaciers in June, 2020.

Story Summit’s Moms@Work Scholarships reward working mothers who have unique writing talents.

“This is the opportunity for women to be re-inspired by their gifts with fellow writers on the beautiful, open seas,” says Story Summit Founder, David Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick is the former President of Paramount Pictures and former Production Chief of Walt Disney Studios. “There’s not a more qualified woman to lead the Moms@Work grant process than Rosa Salazar. Rosa raised two sons on her own, while writing an astounding 6,000 hours of television. Rosa wrote an hour of television a day!”
