Jeff Arch Fellowships Announced

Abigail Bates, John Daniel Pierret, Julia Bobkoff, Neely Etsey, and Miranda Schumes to Join Cape Cod Story Summit

Five writers have been awarded Jeff Arch Fellowships. The $2000 Fellowship given to each writer is applicable toward the Cape Cod Story Summit that begins on Sunday, October 11 and ends on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with these wonderful writers,” says Jeff Arch, screenwriter, director, and author. Jeff Arch is perhaps best known for his screenplay for his rom-com classic, Sleepless in Seattle.

The five Jeff Arch Fellowship recipients are Abigail Bates, John Daniel Pierret, Julia Bobkoff, Neely Estey, and Miranda Schumes. They were chosen from over one hundred and fifty applications. All applicants for the Fellowship needed to submit a sample of their writing work. Each writing sample was reviewed by two story analysts with Story Summits, Haley Hampton and Maggie Randell. Jeff Arch made the decisions on the final recipients.
