Cape Cod Story Summit Announces Tito’s Handmade Vodka Scholarship Winners

Ellen Walters from Truckee, California wins the top prize for the best inspirational dog story in the Tito’s Handmade Vodka Scholarship Competition.

The full tuition scholarship allows Ellen Walters and a guest to attend the Cape Cod Story Summit from October 11 - October17, 2020 at the tranquil and beautiful Ocean Edge Resort in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

A holistic therapist who specializes in postural alignment, Walters wins for her original dramatic novella, Henry.

“Ellen’s emotionally charged story of a dog witnessing the break-up of a marriage (his owners) and subsequent ‘goodbyes’ is heartbreaking and uplifting as Henry discovers that home truly is where the heart is,” says Tab Murphy. Murphy is one of the mentors at the Cape Cod Story Summit and is an Academy-nominated writer of the motion picture, Gorillas in the Mist.
