Dear Medium Friends,

Our non profit, the Storyteller Foundation, is spearheading a tale to encourage children to imagine with a project called The Dreaming Tree. Our interest is to build a better future by seeding the kids of this earth with love, fairness, tolerance, kindness, and adventure in the hope that they will take those values into adulthood.

We are creating a movie of 8 minutes that will include the artwork from kids across the planet. We call it a “Children’s Creative Cooperative”. The movie will premier globally in July to children everywhere for free. It will also be delivered as an ebook with translations in Mandarin-Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, and German.

We believe that art is a powerful expression of existence. Art has the power to create cultural change. History has proved how influential storytelling can be in changing hearts and minds. We need only look at Dickens’ Christmas Carol or Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin to discover such influence.
