As ScreenCraft Closes, Story Summit Stands Strong for Screenwriters
We are only getting better!
We wanted to share some news: Story Summit is here to stay. We remain dedicated to providing education, encouragement, and inspiration to screenwriters, novelists, memoirists, non-fiction writers, essayists, and poets. You can see that blend reflected in our new 2025 logo above.
Unfortunately, ScreenCraft has announced it will be closing its doors on February 28, 2025. We are sorry to see them go — they’ve been a tremendous resource for screenwriters worldwide.
But Story Summit remains strong. Next week, we celebrate our 5th anniversary with a continued commitment to offering both free and paid workshops so that every writer can be part of our vibrant community.
Many of our screen faculty from day one remain with us including Academy Award Nominees, Jeff Arch (Sleepless in Seattle) and Tab Murphy (Gorillas in the Mist). Our star-studded expert guest speakers include Screenwriting legends Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull), John Patrick Shanley (Moonstruck, Doubt) as well as modern writers, Sofya Levistky-Weitz (The Bear).
